Privacy Policy — TrendVido AI

What data TrendVido collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 2026-10-24

TrendVido is a credit-based AI video service. You give us photos, prompts and payment details; we return short AI-generated videos. This policy explains, in plain English, what we do with the information in between.

This is a summary written for people, not a legal document. If anything here is unclear, write to us at support@trendvido.com and we will explain it.

The short version

  • We collect what we need to run your account, generate your videos and take payment. We do not sell personal data.
  • Your photos and videos are used to run the jobs you ask for. They are not used to train public models.
  • Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store the full number.
  • You can ask for a copy of your data or for deletion of your account.
  • You must be 18 or older to create an account and buy credits.

What we collect

Account data. Your email address, display name, a hashed password, the date you signed up and sign-in timestamps. If you sign in through an identity provider, we receive the email and name that provider shares.

Photos and prompts. The images you upload, the templates or prompts you pick, and the videos and photos we generate. This is the content of your jobs.

Credits and payments. Your credit balance and history, the products you bought and the amount paid. Stripe shares a payment reference, status and the last four digits of the card with us. It does not share the full card number.

Support and reports. Messages you send through the support form or email, including any attachments, and abuse reports you file. We keep these to answer you and to keep a record of safety decisions.

Technical data. IP address (for rate limiting, fraud prevention and security logs), browser type, device type, pages visited and the locale you use. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.

How we use it

We use your data to:

  • create and secure your account and sign you in;
  • charge credits, run video and photo jobs and deliver the results;
  • process payments, refunds and failed-run credit returns;
  • provide support and answer reports;
  • apply our content rules and stop abuse, including attempted misuse of minors or of other people's images;
  • keep the service working, debug errors and measure performance;
  • meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your photos or prompts to train public AI models.

Photos, faces and consent

You are responsible for every photo you upload. Upload your own photos, photos of adults who have clearly agreed, your own children in ordinary family content, or your own pets. Do not upload images of celebrities, strangers or private people who have not agreed.

Our rules forbid sexual content, non-consensual intimate imagery, deepfakes used to harass or defraud, and anything involving minors. We may block such content and keep a record of the blocked request for safety purposes. Credits for refused requests are refunded.

AI processing and outputs

Photos and prompts are sent to the AI model providers listed in your run (for example Kling, Seedance, Veo, Wan or MiniMax) only to produce the output you asked for. Those providers process the request under their own terms and data policies.

AI output is probabilistic. It can differ from your photo, look imperfect or be refused by the model. Do not rely on generated videos as evidence, records or facts about a real person.

Payments

Checkout and subscription billing are handled by Stripe. Card data is entered on Stripe's page and never touches our servers. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available through Stripe on supporting devices.

We keep order records (product, amount, currency, date, status and Stripe reference) for accounting and fraud purposes. We do not keep full payment card details.

Cookies and similar storage

We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries:

  • Session cookie — keeps you signed in.
  • Locale cookie — remembers English or Chinese.
  • Preference cookies — remember interface choices such as the last settings tab.
  • Analytics — only if the site operator has enabled a privacy-friendly analytics integration; it records aggregated page views, not your photos.

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies by default. If we ever add them, we will ask for consent first where the law requires it.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only with providers that help us run the service:

  • Stripe for payments, refunds and subscription billing;
  • AI model providers for the specific run you request;
  • Cloud infrastructure and storage providers that host the site, database and generated files;
  • Email delivery providers for sign-in and account emails;
  • Analytics as described above.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, if a lawful request is made by a competent authority, or to protect the rights, safety and property of TrendVido, our users or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open. Photos and generated videos stay in your account until you delete them, delete your account, or the account is closed for inactivity.

When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, uploaded photos and generated videos. We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and we keep abuse records where we have a legal or safety reason to do so. Encrypted backups are rotated out of service on their own schedule.

Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, hash passwords with a modern algorithm, keep secrets in an encrypted configuration store and restrict access to production systems. Card data never reaches us. No online service is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authority as required.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • delete your account and content;
  • export a copy of your data;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • complain to your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email support@trendvido.com from the address on the account. We reply within the time required by local law, usually within 30 days.

Children

TrendVido is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. A parent or guardian may run an account with an ordinary family video of their own children, but the adult remains responsible for that account and those images. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will close it.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent legal mechanism, and we choose providers that commit to appropriate data protection.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the product or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will announce it on the site or by email before it takes effect.
